Marriage Should Not Be A Sacred Thing - 1341 Words

Marriage used to be a sacred thing; once you married someone you spend the rest of your life with them. Even some places such as the Philippines and The Vatican City make divorce illegal. Here in America divorces are happening every single day. This social phenomenon is considered problematic. Almost 50% of all marriages end in divorce. When most people think of a divorce, they think of it ending in bad terms due to infidelity; but this is not always the case. It’s important to understand what a divorce is, how it works, who it affects, the consequences, and the solution. Divorce has become way to common; we need to reestablish the sacredness of marriage and the importance of family. There are two types of divorces, a no fault and an at fault. No fault divorces mean that the person filing does not have to prove fault on their spouse. States still require a reason for divorces so the most common reasons are there are too many differences and the marriage is not repairable. An at fault divorce is most common and this is when a spouse is filing for divorce because of infidelity, abuse, prison confinement, and may more reasons where the other spouse is at fault and deteriorating the marriage. There are 5 different defenses against an at fault divorce; connivance, condonation, recrimination, provocation, and collusion. The stakeholders interest is identified as the most important aspects which shall be fulfilled by the managers of the organization (Marchington, et. al., 2016). For this purpose, the model states that this factor recognizes the importance of trade offs between the interest of owners and the employee as well. Also such trade offs exists among other groups as well. But it is the duty of the manager to work according to the defined model and act in such a way that it benefits both the parties connected with the organ ization. Similarly, in the case of YHRA, the HR manager need to align the interest of doctors along with the interest of their patients as well so that work-life balance is created for the doctors and no patient is left operated. Due to this model, the major issue attracting the organization will reduce (Kramar, 2014). Next, comes the situational factors, this factor influences the management choice to opt for the particular HR strategy. The contingent factors included in such strategy are management philosophy, labor market, work force characteristics, social values and technology and laws and task. Under this aspect, the management needs to amend and implement strategies in such a way that the barriers affecting the growth of YHRA are reduced. HRM policy choices lay great emphasis on the managements decisions and actions which shall follow the guidelines of the organization. These actions shall be implemented in such a way that the actions provide progress to the organization. This factor includes aspects like employee influence, reward system, work system, HR flows etc. These activities of HR manager shall positively remove the barriers affecting the growth (Kavanagh, Johnson, 2017). Commitment, Competence, Congruence, and cost-effectiveness are the four aspects in the basis of which the growth of the model is judged. Talent management selection refers to the strategic approach of an organization to initiate the recruitment and selection process with the aid of available resources. Recruitment and selection is an important aspect which is responsible for the growth of the organization the global market. Talent management strategy attracts the prospective talent present in the external environment and recruits them so that the organization achieves competence by using such resources (Holloway, Galvin, 2016). Further, the approach which the organization YHRA shall use in management for the recruitment and selection process is discussed below: For the purpose of selection of specialist nurses and junior doctors in the organization, initially, the management shall define the job description and person description. The job description will help the organization to analyze the type of work which they want the recruit to perform. This process will provide clarity in the mind of the recruitment and selection panel and the candidates as well. This facility acts in such a way that if the employee is not well or stuck on some issue and cannot come to the healthcare Centre, and then they shall be provided with the relief to work from home. The employees shall be working in their business time period only but they shall not be physically present in the organization. This will help the employees to maintain a work life balance as with the help of this policy the employees can perform their personal as well as professional duties at the same time without taking leaves. If the organization understands such issues of the employees and grant them work from home then the employees will automatically get motivated to work better (Fan, et. al., 2014). Compensation for working in emergencies: the hospital faces emergency cases on a daily basis and one or other employee has to be present at that time in case of emergency. So the organization shall amend changes in such a way that the employees who work on emergencies and holidays shall be benefitted with some kind of monetary incentive and non monetary incentives as well. For overtime, they shall be benefitted with double pay. And for the next day, they shall be relaxed to have a flexible time period or work from home as per their suitability. Short Breaks: apart from one break, the employees shall be given one lunch break and two short breaks of fifteen minutes. Employee engagement practices: the organization shall initiate activities which shall involve the greater contribution of employees in the organization. The management shall initiate fun activities to create a friendly environment in the organization and develop positivity in the workplace. Also, communication is also enhanced with this process, and effective communication creates a strong relationship between them. Also, such practices will let the employee known better about the company which will help them to engage in good managerial practices only (Marsh, et. al., 2014). Fahrenheit 451 (770 words) Essay Fahrenheit 451John F. Kennedy once said, Conformity is jailer of freedom and the enemy of growth. This quote relates directly to the novel Fahrenheit 451, by Ray Bradbury. According to this statement, when a person is told how to live their own lives they often forget to make their own decisions, and they are no longer their own person. Conformity is following all commands and laws regardless of ones own beliefs. In the story, Guy Montag followed the rules set forth by the government, never second-guessing them. He never once thought of what these regulations really meant, or what the effects of his actions were. He never really experienced freedom. This quote expresses the changes that he made in his life. The book Fahrenheit 451, set in the future, shows rules that the world today would think of as outrageous laws. The most apparent law shown in the novel is that citizens of the country are unauthorized to own any type of book, or medium that expresses knowledge or the opinions of people. Although that this law is very well known in the land, it is often broken by those who refuse to give up reading books for entertainment or religious purposes. What the modern worlds definition of a Fireman is today does not match the definition of a Fireman in this novel. Firemen in Fahrenheit 451 are employed with the sole purpose of starting fires as opposed to putting them out and saving lives. The fires started by these Firemen are provoked by reports that the owners of the building that is to be destroyed are hiding illegal books in the establishment. Guy Montag is a Fireman in this novel. He lives his whole life never thinking about what a book is or why it was so important for people to risk their lives to have them. His whole mindset on life changes when he meets an amazing girl named Clarisse McClellan. She begins to have Montag question his lifestyle and other aspects of life in general. This girl fully believes that she is has the right to live her own life, no matter what the rules of the government may be. McClellan begins to serve as an inspiration to Guy Montag. By the end of the story Montag has totally gone against the regulations of the government and his employers, and he begins a new, free life. Ray Bradbury, the author of Fahrenheit 451, uses many literary techniques to express the importance of freedom in a mans life. In the story Firemen, along with the government, are used as the antagonists of all problems that take place. The protagonist is at first Clarisse, and finally Montag, at the end. This shows that the character of Montag did change in the story after he no longer subsided to any rules. Irony was also used in this novel. This technique took place when Guy Montag, a Fireman, began to collect books and defy his countrys laws. This was a very unpredictable and surprising situation for the reader. This irony pertains to the quote by explaining that once a man truly believes that he is free he no longer abides by ridiculous laws or regulations. The author of this story also compared the wife of Montag to her friends. Because the three women abided by the same laws, they each acted the same, and seemed to have identical personalities. The quote explains this by sayin g that conformity is the enemy of growth. Therefore, Ray Bradbury wrote this novel exceptionally, and he used many different ways of writing to get his point across. In Conclusion, when one does not choose to live their own life, and they follow the rules set forth by others, neither change nor growth will occur in a persons life. Guy Montag, of the novel Fahrenheit 451, chose to live by this quote toward the end of the story. He learned that by following his own guidelines he would be the controller of the outcome of his life. Once he began to demonstrate actions that he felt were acceptable his personality changed enormously. The author of this novel, Ray Bradbury, did an admirable job expressing the changes that Montag experienced. He used many different literary techniques to show the growth that Mr. Guy Montag went through in the novel. This story was a perfect example of what may happen when a human is told what to do, instead of having the option of doing what they truly beli eve they should. According to John F.
